Algonquin College Chooses Impatica OnCue for
Online Course Delivery

OTTAWA, Canada, February 25, 2002 - Impatica today announced that Algonquin College has selected Impatica OnCue as a key component of their online course development and delivery solution. Algonquin College, located in Ottawa, has more than 8,000 full time and 15,000 continuing education students. They have almost completed their first course using OnCue. It is entitled "Introduction to the Operating Room" and is part of the certificate course for registered nurses.

Last November, Algonquin College announced a major expansion of their online delivery strategy to provide a better learning experience while at the same time extending their reach.

"OnCue eliminated the need for plug-ins and provided amazing compression, giving us the delivery flexibility we needed to reach all of our intended audience. At the same time, Impatica OnCue is so easy to use and is fully compatible with our current learning management software," said Linda Rees, Manager of Distance Education at Algonquin College. "While RealPlayer is a great product, it did not allow us to reach all of our students."
