VSKOOL was launched on Sept. 7, 2005 under the leadership of Cable in the Classroom (CIC) and the North American Council for Online Learning (NACOL) with the belief that online courses and other technology-related educational services would help states, districts and schools meet the needs of those who were displaced and be a welcome addition to ongoing relief efforts.
