Impatica Ships Breakthrough Solution for Synchronization of Video and PowerPoint™

Ottawa, Ontario, Canada - March 17, 2003 - Impatica Inc. started shipping its exciting new, simple to use solution for the synchronization of video with PowerPoint presentations for hassle-free Internet delivery. Impatica will ship version 2.5 of its products to over 1,000 organizations currently using Impatica's desktop solutions.

Since its release in December 2001, Impatica OnCue has enabled users to produce presentations comprised of synchronized video, PowerPoint-derived slides and scrolling searchable text, with dynamic indexing and navigation controls. Plug-in free, platform independent delivery, even at dial-up speeds, makes OnCue a truly unique product. OnCue 2.5 introduces a breakthrough feature. The new Edit feature of Impatica OnCue takes synchronizing presentations to a new level by providing tools to cue not only slide transitions, but also paragraph advances and animation effects. Perfect synchronization can be achieved by simply clicking and dragging or by using Impatica's innovative new "bulldozing" mode. Impatica OnCue version 2.5 makes the production of these presentations so simple that any PowerPoint user can do it.

"It will reduce our production time substantially while allowing more of our staff to build presentations." explains Simon Beeston, Director of On-line Curriculum Development at BPP Financial Services Training in London. "Well done, Impatica! You listened to our suggestions and have delivered an impressive solution."

"I am proud that our team has listened to our customers and has created a product that empowers subject matter experts to easily synchronize video with their PowerPoint presentations and text," says Michael Doyle, chairman and CEO of Impatica, "This means that more time can be spent on the message, and less time on trying to make things work."
